Position: Manager – Logistics
Location: Cochin
Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is an added advantage
Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in international logistics, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role in the spice or food industry
Salary : Upto 15 Lacs
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the complete export and domestic logistics operations for export and domestic markets
* Ensure timely and effective movement of goods, aligning with production schedules and delivery commitments.
* Manage and supervise all customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.
* Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts with freight forwarders, shipping liners, airlines, customs brokers,



and other logistics service providers to achieve optimal cost, service levels, and operational efficiency.
* Select and evaluate carriers/forwarders, monitoring their performance against defined criteria.
* Identify and assess new logistics partners to enhance supply chain resilience, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
* Demonstrated expertise in commercial dealings and contract negotiations with freight forwarders, shipping liners (ocean, air, and road freight), and warehouse service providers.
* Strong hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of customs clearance, import/export regulations, and international trade compliance.
