Hands on experience :

- Hands on experience onCommvault architecture (COMM Serve, Media Agent, iDataAgent)
- Backup types and sub client configuration.
- Hands-on understanding of DDB, Storage Policy design, or VSA proxy functionality.

Preferred Skills:

1. Hands on working experience with Backupsoftware likeCommVault, NetBackup, Veeam OnPrem & Cloud Migrations / Azure VM backups etc.
2. Proficient with Linux OS.
3. Primary Troubleshooting of the backupor restoration failure issues.
4. Good understanding on Cloud backuptechnologies like (GCP /Azure / AWS)
5. Must have worked on backuphardware like (physical / Virtual Tape Library (VTL), disk-based backups, understanding to take backupvia SAN, NAS and other mediums.
6.



Closely monitor the Backupjobs and dashboard to track the real time backupfailures.
7. Proficient in Incident Management, Performance Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Alert Analysis.
8. Perform restoration as per the request after validating proper approvals and follow the ITSM formalities.
9. Timely escalate the issues which are not resolved or seek the required assistance from the next level.
10. Installations / Upgrade / Configurations of current backupclients.
11. Periodic housekeeping and logs clean-up for hassle free backupoperations and vulnerability closures.
12. Configure and maintain backuppolicies, tape drives, Catalogue Backup, Reports and backuptrend analysis and basic forecasting.
