Job Description –Mechanical Design Engineer (Mechanical Press)

n Department: Machine Building Division (MBD)
n Location: Yamuna Nagar, Haryana

n Key Responsibilities
n
- n
- Design and develop heavy machinery, machine assemblies, and special purpose machinery (SPM) using SolidWorks and AutoCAD .n
- Prepare 2D drawing/ 3D models, detail drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, GA drawings, and manufacturing drawings.n
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation as per company procedures.n
- Calculation and engineering documentation.n
- Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, engineering standards, and manufacturing requirements.n

nRequired Technical Skills
n
- n
- High level Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D Drafting).n
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for fabricated and machined components/ assembliesn
- Understanding of material selection and basic engineering calculations.n




- Valuable understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.n
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, assembly, and other manufacturing processes.n
- FEA knowledge is preferredn

nQualification

- n
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.n

nExperience
n
- n
- 4–8 years of experience in Mechanical Design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD in the Heavy Engineering or Machine Building industry.n

nOther Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.n
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.n
- Knowledge of SAP systems will be an added advantage.n
- Knowledge about auxiliary systems such as pneumatics/hydraulics/lubrication is added advantagen
