Accounts Manager – Real Estate

Job Description:

This role is best suited for professionals who have worked with real estate developers, construction companies, contractors and possess strong expertise in accounting, audits, compliance, vendor management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and financial controls.
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
* Manage client accounts, payment schedules, invoicing, and account reconciliations.
* Oversee vendor onboarding, payment planning, contract-related financial documentation, and vendor account management.
* Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements, providing periodic forecasts and MIS reports.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
* Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits,



tax audits, and financial due diligence activities.
* Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements.
* Liaise with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
* Establish and maintain financial processes, controls, and documentation standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Minimum 3–5 years of finance and accounting experience.
* Prior experience working with a Real Estate Developer/Construction Company/ Contractor is mandatory.
* Hands-on experience handling statutory audits, internal audits, GST, TDS, taxation, and compliance activities.
* Robust knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, financial reporting, and accounting systems.
* Ability to independently manage finance operations with minimal supervision.
