About the Role
Skillmate is looking for a SEO Manager with robust hands-on expertise in SEO, Technical SEO, Local SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). The candidate should be capable of independently planning and executing SEO strategies, managing multiple client accounts, analyzing performance and staying updated with the rapidly evolving search and AI-search landscape.

Key Responsibilities
● Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple client accounts.
● Manage On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO.
● Develop and execute Local SEO strategies for businesses across different locations.
● Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP/GMB).
● Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and search-intent analysis.
● Develop and implement AEO strategies to improve visibility across answer engines and featured search results.
● Develop and implement GEO strategies to improve brand visibility across AI-powered search and generative AI platforms.
● Optimize websites and content for traditional search engines,



answer engines and AI search platforms.
● Conduct technical SEO audits and identify issues related to crawling, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, redirects and more.
● Develop SEO-friendly content strategies, briefs and content structures.
● Optimize website pages, landing pages, blogs, metadata, headings, URLs and internal linking.
● Plan and execute effective off-page and link-building strategies.
● Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, leads/conversions and other SEO KPIs.
● Analyze performance using Google Search Console, GA4, GBP insights and SEO tools.
● Prepare SEO reports with key insights, performance trends and action plans.
● Conduct competitor research and identify new opportunities for organic growth.
● Collaborate with content, social media, design and web development teams.
● Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, AI search developments and changes
