The College seeks an eminent academic leader with demonstrated experience in academic administration, institutional development, quality assurance, research, accreditation and implementation of contemporary higher education reforms.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The candidate shall fulfil the qualifications and experience prescribed under the applicable UGC Regulations and University/State Government norms.
· Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
· Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
· A minimum of 15 years of teaching/research/academic/administrative experience in Universities, Colleges including experience at the level of Professor/Associate Professor or equivalent, as applicable under prevailing norms.
· A distinguished academic record and demonstrated capability in academic and institutional leadership.

DESIRABLE / PREFERRED PROFILE
Preference may be given to candidates having:
· Proven experience as Principal/Professor/Associate Professor or in an equivalent senior academic/administrative position.
· Strong experience in academic leadership, institutional governance and strategic planning.
· Demonstrated understanding and implementation of NEP 2020, Outcome Based Education (OBE), multidisciplinary education and other higher education reforms.
· Proven leadership in IQAC, NAAC, NIRF, NBA and other accreditation, ranking and quality-assurance initiatives, as applicable.
· Solid research profile with quality publications, research guidance, funded research/projects and academic collaborations.
· Experience in curriculum development, faculty development, examination reforms and student-centric education.
