Responsibilities
Handle Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance activities of CNC, VMC & HMC Machines
Plan and implement planned preventive & corrective maintenance activities across all machinery of plant, equipment, Utility Services and other physical assets
Designing POKA-YOKE stations to ensure defect free product
Implementing 5's, Kaizen in the department
Creating a safe workplace for all personnel
Emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
To implement and develop procedures to sustain, improve availability of machines by continual improvement to optimize costs, enhance machine reliability and deliver Zero Breakdown of machines
To develop suppliers for supplying the spares and services required for the machines




Shop floor maintenance activities to achieve availability of machines as planned
carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults
diagnosing breakdown problems, controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment
fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly
monitoring and controlling maintenance costs
dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
To ensure secure procedures for processing the parts which include the safety of man, machine and environment on shop floor
Fault finding during production, assessing need of spare parts, Pre planning parts requirements for install
