URGENT HIRING – CRITICAL CARE SPECIALIST / INTENSIVIST

POSITION

Consultant Intensivist / Critical Care Specialist

QUALIFICATION

• DM Critical Care Medicine

• DrNB Critical Care Medicine

• IDCCM

• Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration

EXPERIENCE

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Candidates with robust hands-on ICU and Critical Care experience will be given preference

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently manage critically ill patients in the ICU

• Assess, stabilize and treat medical and surgical emergencies

• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced critical care

• Manage sepsis, septic shock, respiratory failure, ARDS, AKI and multi-organ dysfunction

• Provide hemodynamic monitoring and appropriate critical care management

• Perform ICU procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central venous access, arterial line placement and emergency airway management as per expertise

• Manage difficult airway and resuscitation emergencies

• Conduct regular ICU rounds and monitor patient progress

• Coordinate with physicians, surgeons, anaesthesiologists and other specialists





• Guide ICU nursing staff regarding patient management and critical care protocols

• Maintain accurate ICU documentation, progress notes and discharge summaries

• Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety and hospital clinical protocols

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong expertise in Critical Care Medicine

• Excellent ventilator and airway management skills

• Good knowledge of sepsis and multi-organ failure management

• Strong emergency response and clinical decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary coordination

• Professional, ethical and patient-centric approach
