We are looking for a Fabric Sourcing Manager / Fabric Manager for our export unit-Taurus Home furnishings Ltd, Gurgaon, Its an 20 years old organisation into manufacturing/export unit into Home furnishings products.Job Description:Product Development- Managing all Aspects of fabric development process, dying & printing work, New sample development, and counter qualities received from buyer for business generation. Responsible for overseeing and managing fabric R&D.Market; Mapping- To analyze trend forecast, price risk & business volume & to keep a track on current market scenario and frequent changes for optimum product in terms of costing & quality.Costing & Negotiation- Actively involved in costing of fabric, negotiations with the buyers & vendors for prices. Also to implement a bucketing strategy with key mills to obtain most competitive prices.Vendor Management- Analyzing & developing vendor source for achieving cost effective sourcing of raw material.



Also to source recent potential fabric suppliers to expand mill matrix to provide broader development opportunities and establish new partnerships.Bulk Order Execution- To lock all the TNAs required as per PLC calendar. Responsible for Color, quality and Aesthetic review and approval of all kind of fabrics (Prints, dyed and yarn dyed) at various stages. Also to keep Track of running bulk orders, review status of different fabrics in production and take corrective action in case of delay anticipatedTechnical Support- To understand technical aspects and requirements and to analyze test reports to lock the callouts if any from product development stage itself, to ensure the quality standard meet with customers requirement, simplify technical manuals and standardize training materials; provide basic fabric knowledge training to cross functional teams including merchandising and design.
