Roles and Responsibilities•Day to day follow up and Execution of work as per the order. •Initiate research and development of new fabrics, analysis of their density, types of dyes, printing etc., as per the swatches given and pass on to the designers to develop garments. •To visit manufacturing units to attend fabric related problems. •Based on fabric analysis quote the prices and arrange for bulk fabric production. •Trouble shoot problems occurring during production relating to shrinkage percentage, color variation etc. •To make productive use of resources. •Arrange fabrics for extra consumption, in case of rejection, settle the claims with mills.Meet the planned cut date as per the production planning.
