Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Tax Functional Consultant / SME to support global SAP Tax processes, tax compliance, statutory reporting, tax engine integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP Tax, particularly statutory reporting, e-invoicing, and SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), along with positive knowledge of SAP FI, MM, and SD integration.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Tax Functional Support

Provide functional support for global SAP Tax processes across SAP FI, MM, SD, and related finance applications.
Support statutory reporting, e-invoicing, SAP DRC, Intrastat, withholding tax, deferred tax, and other country-specific compliance requirements.
Configure and support SAP Tax functionality in SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC environments.




Analyze and support tax requirements across multiple geographies and regulatory environments.
Troubleshoot tax-related issues and provide effective functional solutions.

Tax Engine & Integration

Support integration between SAP and external tax determination/compliance engines.
Work with tax determination flows involving IDOCs, XML, APIs, tax exceptions, and reconciliation processes.
Support integrations with platforms such as OneSource, Sovos, Deloitte Extractor, MasterSAF, or similar tax solutions.
Validate tax-related master data and ensure accurate tax determination across integrated systems.
Investigate interface failures and coordinate resolution of integration issues.

Solution Delivery & Enhancement

Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP Tax solutions.
Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, workflows, and implementation designs.
