Role Description The Category Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for owning and optimizing specific service categories across Houseitt.com’s portfolio. The role involves analyzing category performance, defining pricing and assortment strategies, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction. The Category Manager will collaborate with procurement, sales, marketing,



and operations teams to onboard and manage beauty professionals, negotiate service terms, and ensure consistent service quality. Daily tasks include reviewing data dashboards, monitoring competitor offerings, planning category promotions, coordinating with field teams on service delivery, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Qualifications
Robust skills in Category Management, including portfolio planning, pricing, and assortment optimization.
Solid Analytical Skills to interpret performance data, customer insights, and market trends for decision-making.
Experience in Contract Negotiation and Procurement for managing vendors, service providers, and commercial terms.
