Atom Consultancy is a boutique consultancy firm based out of Mumbai, specialising in the packaged food and beverage industry. We are looking to grow our team with the addition of a Product Developer in our R&D; team who will support our product development efforts for our projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating and developing recent recipes for FMCG products in their format. You will lead our R&D; efforts across recipe development, vendor finalisation, packaging procurement and production. You will have strong attention to detail and a curiosity to learn & explore.

Responsibilities
Take table top trials for new products that are under development.
Collect feedback to approve a formulation and design scale up process.
Identify vendors for raw material, packaging material and ancillary services.




Plan and execute pilot trials and production for the first batch.
Generate and maintain SOPs for all recipes and production processes.
Manage multiple projects across the R&D; cycle at the same time.

Qualifications
A bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or related fields.
1+ year of experience in an R&D; setup in the packaged food and beverage industry.
A strong understanding of the basics of food science.
Understanding and passion of the current FMCG industry in India.
Ability to multi-task.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
