Understanding of HSE software tools like Phast, Phast Risk, PHA, Flare sim, Sound plan, Pipe net etc. and their applications.
Knowledge of international standards, specifications and codes e.g. NFPA, API, IEC, IP, BSI and ISO procedures and standards.

Job Responsibilities

Finalize requirements for HSE Studies such as FHA, QRA, Bow-tie, SIL, F&G; Detectors Mapping, HFE, EIA, Noise Study, RAM, etc. and review and implement recommendations in detailed design.
Organize and participate in project safety reviews HAZID, HAZOP, BOWTIE, HFE, ALARP, SIL, etc.
Perform Fire Protection System Design (including hydraulic calculations for fire water network, preparation of P&IDs;, Datasheets of FW Tanks,



Pumps, Fire suppression system, etc.)
Preparation of F&G; system design, Passive Fire Proofing (PFP) and Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)
Supervise and provide guidance in the preparation and evaluation of Plot Plans
Review contract requirements for project execution, identify Scope of Work and develop Manpower Plan
Responsible for management and control of the job executed in the group
Assignment of Sr. Engineer/ Engineer/ Designer and preparation of organization for the project
Ensure that all work performed complies fully with all applicable codes, regulations etc., as well as company design standards & client requirements or in other words, design control.
Review Inquiry Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations and ensure procurement according to project specifications and within budgeted cost.
Ensure that all the Health, Safety and Environment related requirements, as given in Project Co
