Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role at Banergy is a full time, on-site position based in Kolkata. In this role, the engineer will design and develop mechanical components and systems, create and review detailed drawings and models using CAD tools, and support machine design activities from concept through production.



The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure product quality and reliability. Daily responsibilities include participating in R&D; initiatives, conducting technical analysis and calculations, preparing documentation, and assisting in testing and validation of prototypes. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to project planning, coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams, and help implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Banergy’s values.
