Job Title: Assistant/Deputy Manager - Accounts

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Professional to join our finance team. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations and requires an individual with a deep understanding of retail accounting. The ideal candidate is a CA Inter with substantial experience in the lifestyle retail industry, possessing strong leadership and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Core Accounting & Compliance:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate finalization of books.
Ensure strict adherence to statutory regulations including GST filings, TDS deductions, and other tax compliances.
Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits.

Retail-Specific Financial Management:




Manage inventory accounting and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate valuation and landed cost calculations.
Monitor daily financial transactions across multiple store locations including sales, stock adjustments, and expenses.
Oversee reconciliations for payment gateways, banking transactions, and cash-on-delivery (COD) collections.
Prepare and review Management Information System (MIS) reports, including P&L; analysis, budgets, and forecasts for management review.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
Supervise, mentor, and guide junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Implement and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve process efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Chartered Accountant Intermediate is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a solid prefer
