Role Description The Senior Consultant will work full time on-site at the Ahmedabad office, providing advisory services in audit, taxation, and compliance to SME clients. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, supervising audit assignments, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and advising clients on tax planning and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with junior staff, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and maintaining clear documentation and work papers.



The Senior Consultant will also interact directly with clients to understand their business needs, present findings, and recommend practical solutions. In addition, the role includes staying current with changes in accounting standards and tax laws and contributing to process improvements within the firm.
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent qualified certification.
Several years of experience in audit, taxation, or consulting, preferably with SMEs.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements in India.
Proficiency in audit tools, accounting software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, manage multiple engagements, and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
