Role Description The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This position supports the sales team in driving room and event revenue by managing corporate, group, and travel trade accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and pursuing recent business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, preparing proposals and contracts, and conducting sales calls and hotel site visits.



The role also involves coordinating with operations and front office teams to ensure seamless service delivery, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and updating sales reports and CRM systems. The Assistant Sales Manager is expected to meet assigned sales targets while representing the hotel professionally at networking events, sales meetings, and industry forums.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality sales, preferably in a similar Assistant Sales Manager or Sales Executive role.
Strong client relationship management skills, including account handling, negotiation, and follow-up.
Ability to analyze sales data, track performance against targets, and prepare concise sales reports.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with corporate and individual clients.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
