Role Description
The Laboratory Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Chhatral, Gandhinagar. The role involves supporting routine laboratory testing of cable materials and finished products, following established test methods and safety procedures. Responsibilities include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, recording and organizing test data, and assisting in quality control checks to ensure compliance with relevant standards. The Laboratory Assistant will collaborate with production and quality teams to report test results, identify deviations, and help implement corrective actions. The role also requires maintaining a clean, orderly lab environment,



managing basic inventory of lab supplies, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications
Quality control capabilities, with an understanding of testing procedures, documentation, and adherence to industry standards.
Analytical skills to interpret test results, identify trends or anomalies, and support troubleshooting of material or product issues.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related technical field (chemistry, physics, materials, or electrical preferred).
Basic computer skills for data entry, report preparation, and use of laboratory software or spreadsheets.
Prior experience in an industrial or cable/testing laboratory environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
