Engineering role focused on building Tamil-language assistive AI for farmers, with evaluations, guardrails, and cost discipline from day one. The work centers on a read-only operations copilot, document generation, and protected AI boundaries.

Experience

3–5 years in software
At least one LLM feature shipped to real users
Experience with prompt and tool-use design
Experience with agent loops
Experience writing and running evaluations and guardrails
Ability to explain model trade-offs, batching, and caching with a real budget
Interest in Tamil; reading it is enough to start
Willingness to sit with farmers and listen to what they actually ask

Responsibilities

Own the assist service end to end
Build Tamil chat help
Build a read-only operations copilot




Build document generation
Build the evaluation and guardrail layer behind the service
Create an evaluation set of at least a hundred Tamil questions
Publish a pass rate for the evaluation set
Run evaluations in the pipeline rather than by hand
Enforce hard per-user and per-day caps at the gateway
Set a budget alarm at sixty per cent of the monthly allocation by day fifteen
Measure voice booking assist with real farmers in Erode before release
Keep AI out of money, dispatch, and safety paths
Ensure generated text never contains a number the system did not compute

Additional Responsibilities

Ensure AI stays permanently out of every money, dispatch, and safety path
Prevent the voice booking assist from auto-submitting anything
Work on a hard language problem with real users
Sit with farmers and learn what they actually ask
