The Opportunity
We're looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to own and elevate our quality function end to end. This is a role for someone who's equally comfortable in a boardroom audit review and on the shop floor tracing a non-conformance to its root cause — someone fluent in the specific language of defense quality assurance: DGQA, DGAQA, AS9100, and ISO 9001.
What You'll Do
Lead and continuously strengthen RFMW's Quality Management System across AS9100 and ISO 9001 frameworks




Own liaison and coordination with DGQA and DGAQA for inspections, audits, and product certifications
Drive incoming, in-process, and final inspection for RF/microwave modules, subassemblies, and finished systems
Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, and NCR closure across design, manufacturing, and supplier quality
Manage supplier quality audits and vendor qualification for critical and long-lead components
Own internal audit planning and execution, and lead the organization's readiness for external certification and surveillance audits
Partner closely with design, production, and program teams to embed quality from the first drawing, not just at the final inspection gate
Build, mentor, and grow a QA team as RFMW scales into current programs
What You'll Bring
5–6 years of quality assurance experience, ideally in defense, aerospace, or precision electronics manufacturing
Solid working knowledge of DGQA and DGAQA processes, documentation, and inspec
