Role Description The Business Development Associate role is a contract based , in office position based in Mumbai. In this role, the associate will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and nurture relationships with partners and clients, and support expansion initiatives in the local market. Daily responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying leads,
conducting market and competitor research, preparing and delivering presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth. The associate will also help track performance metrics, provide insights to improve service offerings, and ensure alignment between business development activities and Urban Company’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders, negotiate, and convey ideas clearly and professionally.
Lead generation skills with experience in identifying prospects, qualifying opportunities, and managing basic sales pipelines.
Market research capabilities to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities, and translate findings into actionable insights.
Effective presentation skills, including designing and delivering presentations that explain value propositions and business cases.
