Role & responsibilities
We're looking for a fresher Data Science Trainer to join our academy. This is an entry-level teaching role, you'll train students in applied Data Science under guidance from our senior team, with room to grow into full ownership of batches.
Candidates with a related degree (Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in training students in Python, Statistics, Data Analysis, and basic Machine Learning
Support hands-on, project-based teaching sessions
Help design and review real-world practice projects (EDA, basic ML models)
Explain concepts clearly to beginners with mixed technical backgrounds
Assign and evaluate daily/weekly student tasks
Support students preparing for interviews and assessments
Work under senior trainers to gradually take ownership of topics and batches
Collaborate with the Code Purple academic team for curriculum feedback

Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)
Working knowledge of Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
Solid fundamentals in Statistics & Probability




Basic understanding of Machine Learning (Regression, Classification, Clustering)
Willingness to work with real datasets, not just coursework examples
Ability to explain concepts clearly should be able to answer "why", not just "how"
Comfortable and confident teaching beginners
Solid willingness to learn and grow into a full trainer role
