Role Description The Assistant Manager – Fundraising Officer will be responsible for identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations and institutions to support Akshaya Patra’s programs. This on-site role, based in Chennai, involves developing fundraising strategies, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating donor meetings and events, and ensuring timely follow-up and stewardship. The role includes analyzing fundraising performance, maintaining accurate donor records, and collaborating with internal teams to align fundraising initiatives with program priorities and impact stories. The Assistant Manager will also contribute to campaigns, reports and communication materials that highlight the foundation’s work and outcomes, while adhering to ethical fundraising practices and organizational policies.
