Role Description The Chef Trainer role at Bistro is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Chef Trainer will design and deliver training programs for kitchen staff, including cooking techniques, recipe execution, plating standards, and kitchen safety. This role involves conducting hands-on training sessions, monitoring skill development, and providing feedback to help team members improve performance. The Chef Trainer will standardize recipes and processes, ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety regulations, and support menu rollouts and new initiatives.



The role also includes close collaboration with management to assess training needs, create training materials, and maintain consistent culinary quality across the operation.
Qualifications
Robust culinary expertise with proven experience as a chef, preferably in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
Experience in training or mentoring kitchen teams, with the ability to explain techniques clearly and demonstrate best practices.
Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations, including inventory and preparation planning.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse team members.
Organizational and time-management skills to plan training schedules and manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed.
