Core purpose

To support Flatkick’s growth by:

1. Identifying and evaluating EVA footwear export opportunities.
2. Researching international markets, buyers, brands, distributors and importers.
3. Preparing MIS and operational reports for management.
4. Analysing production, sales, quality, inventory and dispatch data to highlight gaps and opportunities.
5. Supporting the management team with data-driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

1. Export Market Research

* Research countries with high demand for EVA footwear, clogs, slippers and flip-flops.
* Identify potential international brands, importers, distributors and wholesalers.
* Research competitors, pricing, product trends and customer preferences.
* Track import/export data and identify promising markets.
* Prepare country-wise opportunity reports.
* Build and continuously update an Export Buyer Database.
* Research trade fairs, B2B portals and other channels for finding buyers.
* Support the team in preparing initial buyer outreach.

2. Business & Competitor Research





* Track international EVA footwear trends and current designs.
* Monitor competitors’ products, pricing and positioning.
* Identify potential product gaps/opportunities for Flatkick.
* Benchmark Indian products against Chinese, Vietnamese and other competing suppliers.

3. MIS & Operational Reporting
Prepare periodic reports covering:

* Production vs plan
* Order status
* Dispatches
* Sales and pending orders
* Customer-wise business
* Inventory and raw material
* Rejection/rework
* Quality issues
* Machine utilisation
* Productivity
* Receivables/payment status
* Export enquiry funnel

4. Data Analysis

* Consolidate data from production, sales, purchase, QC and dispatch teams.
* Identify trends, deviations and bottlenecks.
* Highlight exceptions rather than simply preparing numbers.
* Develop Excel/Google Sheets dashboards.
* Provide management with “What happened → Why → What action is required” analysis.
