Role Description The Area Sales Officer is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory, focusing on steel pipes and wire products. Day-to-day activities include visiting existing and potential customers, presenting product offerings, negotiating prices and terms, and closing sales orders. The Area Sales Officer will coordinate channel sales activities with distributors and retailers, track sales operations,



and maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and conversions. The role also involves resolving customer service issues, monitoring market trends and competitor activity, and providing regular sales reports and feedback to the management team.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills in Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Experience in Sales Operations and Channel Sales, including territory management, dealer engagement, and order processing.
Proven ability in Lead Generation, pipeline management, and converting prospects into long-term customers.
Basic understanding of steel products or industrial goods, or willingness to learn technical product details.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; relevant diploma or equivalent experience considered.
