Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Monitor the production schedule according to set targets
- Ensure achievement of measures of Performance (MOP) targets using PDCA approach
- Identify ways to control cost and increase the efficiency of Paint shop production
- Monitor and improve BWT (Body Work Team) performance with respect to PQCDSM
- Anticipate concerns in PT, CED, underbody spray, sealer line, sanding, primer, base coat, top coat , oven, spot repair & wax line and take proactive measures to achieve quick stabilization
- Drive QCRT forums for concern analysis
- Ensure safety on the shop floor and take part in safety related internal/external audits
- Conduct JH & Maintain 3S as per standards
- Tools & equipment Management
- Understanding of ED/Paint defects and Troubleshooting
- Maintain OLE (Overall Line Effectiveness) records,



restore minor stoppages & breakdown quickly by taking ICA (Immediate Corrective Action) and PCA (Permanent Corrective Action) to minimize/eliminate recurrence
- Coordinate and provide supporting hand to customers (Internal and External)
- Shop Floor Management
- Manpower deployment & scheduling
- Spare part procurement
