Summary: L2 Technical Support Engineer will be a part of the team that provides support for Wireless ISP customers in North America, around the clock.

Location: Chennai, India.

Experience: 5-10 Years.

Role & Responsibilities:
ï· Work with customers to understand and resolve technical support issues by providing
exceptional customer support to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
ï· Interact with US based engineers to troubleshoot wireless and network performance issues,
and formally report on the analysis, findings and resolution of those issues.
ï· Collaborate with other L2 engineers, and coach and mentor Level 1 engineers on equipment,
services, and technologies.
ï· Provide timely, accurate and well-researched feedback to US engineers regarding outages,
system defects and performance issues.
ï· Use test applications or scripts and assist in commissioning wireless networks and related
equipment, which will require developing a working knowledge of installation, setup,
configuration, operation, and management of client’s equipment and services.




ï· Make recommendations on the development of support infrastructure, including suggestions
to continuously improve our support level, knowledge, and abilities.
ï· Work with prospective customers and internal deployment personnel to determine technical
customer requirements and provide support services of client’s products and equipment to
satisfy customer requirements.

Requirements
Candidate Profile:
Mandatory Requirements
ï· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology or any equivalent.
ï· Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in Computer, IT, network, or wireless technologies, providing Level 2 (L2) technical support.
ï· Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP).
ï· Specific knowledge and experience in working with Ethernet, TCP/IP and related communication protocols in LAN and WAN environments.
