We’re hiring: Senior Actuarial Analyst

Ollive is building insurance for a new category of risk: AI agents making mistakes that cause real financial loss. The challenge? There is almost no historical loss data, no established rating plan, and no obvious exposure base. That’s exactly why we’re hiring our first actuary.

You’ll work directly with the founders, underwriters, reinsurers, product and engineering teams to figure out how AI liability should actually be priced.

What You'll Do
- Build our AI liability pricing model from scratch
- Decide the right exposure units, rating factors, frequency and severity assumptions
- Use data from adjacent lines like cyber, tech E&O;, professional liability and med mal to build credible proxies
- Work directly with reinsurers and capacity providers to improving pricing models
- Turn actuarial models into pricing and underwriting logic inside the product
- Help shape limits, exclusions, attachment points and coverage structure
- Build monitoring and reserving processes as real claims data starts coming in

Who we're looking for




- Around 4–7 years of General Insurance / P&C; actuarial experience
- Qualified or close to qualified, ideally with SP7 and/or SP8 + CP1/CA1
- Experience in specialty pricing — cyber, tech E&O;, qualified liability, healthcare liability or similar is especially relevant
- Strong Python or R + SQL
- Comfortable working with incomplete data and making assumptions you can clearly defend
- Experience building a new product, pricing model, rating plan or line of business is a big plus

Most importantly, you should enjoy problems where there is no existing playbook. This is a hands-on founding role. You won’t inherit an actuarial team or a mature model. You’ll help build both.
