We're Hiring: Senior Claims Executive (Marine Insurance Claims) Location : Andheri, Mumbai Company: Emarat Maritime LLC Employment Type: Full time Are you an experienced Marine Insurance Claims professional with a strong understanding of P&I; Club claims, cargo losses, hull damages, and maritime risks? We are looking for a Senior Claims Executive to join our team and play a critical role in managing marine insurance claims from notification to settlement while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards. Key Responsibilities ✅ Manage and resolve marine insurance claims from FNOL (First Notice of Loss) through final settlement. ✅ Promptly acknowledge, assess, and report marine-related incidents. ✅ Provide technical guidance on: Marine insurance policies Claims recoveries Incident reporting procedures ✅ Liaise with: P&I; Clubs Loss Adjusters Surveyors Legal Counsel ✅ Maintain accurate claim files, logs, reconciliations, and cost documentation. ✅ Monitor aging claims and proactively drive resolutions. ✅ Support cargo claims handling,



club guarantees, loss ratio tracking, and claims reconciliation. ✅ Prepare monthly MIS reports and claims trend analysis to support risk mitigation and business strategy. ✅ Collaborate with Commercial and Operations teams to identify voyage and Charter Party (C/P) claim risks. ✅ Assist in audits, compliance reviews, legal coordination, and loss prevention initiatives. ✅ Support team operations during peak workloads and staff absences. Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor's Degree in: Marine Insurance Maritime Studies Law Shipping Or a related discipline Experience ✔ Minimum 5 years of experience in Marine Insurance Claims Handling ✔Strong knowledge of: P&I; Club Claims Cargo Losses Hull & Machinery Claims Maritime Legal Processes Marine Risk Management Skills & Expertise Thorough understanding of marine insurance claims handling Ability to interpret marine insurance policies and contractual ob
