The role
Flying agricultural drones commercially is a regulated activity, and a lapsed certificate grounds real work. You keep the registers for airframe registration, pilot certification and insurance, you run the privacy obligations we owe every farmer, and you keep the audit files in a state where an inspector could open them tomorrow.
Key responsibilities
Maintain the registers for airframe registration, pilot certification and insurance validity
Own regulatory filings and airspace permissions
Keep the compliance calendar ahead of every expiry rather than behind it
Run data-protection operations: consent records, handling procedures and periodic review
Audit stations and Parks, document findings and follow the remediation through
Keep audit files organised so an external auditor can navigate them in one sitting
Raise emerging regulatory risk early,
with a recommendation attached
Eligibility
Four to eight years in regulatory compliance, audit or legal operations
Working knowledge of Indian aviation regulation and unmanned aircraft rules
Familiarity with India’s data protection obligations
Meticulous documentation habits — the file is the job
Fluent Tamil and English
What you get
A compliance function built at the founding of a current industry, where the rules are still forming
External counsel and auditors alongside you — you will not be working alone
