The role
This is the part of the company that changes lives most directly. You build and run the certification programme with approved training partners, you own curriculum quality and certification outcomes, and you hold the placement promise: a pilot who qualifies should have a posting waiting. The programme is designed to pay for itself.
Key responsibilities
Build and run the pilot certification programme with approved training partners
Own enrolment, curriculum quality and certification outcomes against the published gates
Hold the placement promise — match qualified pilots to stations and track that they actually started
Monitor training quality directly: sit in on sessions, take candidate feedback, and change the curriculum when it is wrong
Own the academy’s operating budget and its self-funding model
Build the relationships with training organisations and the regulator
Report monthly on cohorts,
completion and placement — including the shortfalls
Eligibility
Six to ten years in technical training, vocational education or aviation training
You have run a certification programme end to end, not just taught on one
Familiarity with remote pilot certification and the approval regime around it
Able to build and hold partnerships with external training providers
Fluent Tamil, and credible with rural young people and their families
What you get
The pilot supply for the entire network — the function that decides whether it can scale
Work whose outcome is a person with a certificate and a job
