Part-Time Tuition Teacher — Children's Learning & Mentoring

Location: Children's Orphanage - Vandalur

Age Group: 6–14 years

Subjects: All core subjects

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2 hours per day

We are looking for a caring, patient, and committed Part-Time Tuition Teacher to support children aged 6–14 with their academic learning, confidence, and overall development.
/n
The role goes beyond teaching lessons. The teacher will mentor, guide, assess, encourage, and help each child improve their learning skills and confidence.
/n
Key Responsibilities

- Teach and support children across core subjects based on their age and learning level.
/n
- Understand each child's strengths, challenges, and learning needs.
/n
- Provide individual attention and additional support where required.
/n
- Conduct simple assessments to track academic progress and identify learning gaps.
/n
- Create engaging and practical learning activities to make lessons enjoyable.
/n
- Help children improve reading,
writing, communication, mathematics, and problem-solving skills.
/n
- Guide children in developing better study habits, discipline, concentration, and time management.
/n
- Encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independent learning.
/n
- Mentor children with patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement.
/n
- Track progress and share observations with the program coordinator.
/n
- Help children prepare for school examinations, assignments, and academic requirements.
/n
- Create a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.

Ideal Candidate
/n
/n
- Graduate or postgraduate with strong academic knowledge.
/n
- Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or child-development experience preferred.
/n
- Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with children from different learning backgrounds.

- Able to teach multiple subjects across different age groups.
