JOB Title : Economics & Business Management Teacher – IB Curriculum

Key Responsibilities:

/n

/n
- Plan and deliver engaging IB Economics and Business Management lessons aligned with IB curriculum frameworks.
/n
- Develop inquiry-based, student-centred learning experiences that promote critical thinking, analysis, and real-world application .
/n
- Teach and support students in understanding economic theories, business concepts, case studies, market structures, finance, marketing, and global business.
/n
- Prepare students for IB assessments, examinations, Internal Assessments (IA), and other coursework .
/n
- Guide students in research, data interpretation, business case analysis, and evidence-based decision-making.
/n
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
/n
- Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development.
/n




- Integrate current economic, business, and global affairs into classroom discussions.
/n
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary and IB learner-profile development.
/n
- Participate in parent meetings, school events, career development, and other academic responsibilities.
/n

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

/n

/n
- Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field .
/n
- Experience teaching IB DP Economics and/or Business Management preferred.
/n
- Strong knowledge of IB curriculum, assessment criteria, IA requirements, and examination standards .
/n
- Excellent communication, classroom management, analytical, and mentoring skills.
/n
- IB training/certification will be an added advantage.
