GENERAL PURPOSE

Performs unskilled and skilled work in the operation and maintenance of streets, bridges, parks, natural areas and recreation areas to maintain a beautiful, safe and welcoming setting for the community of Trinidad and it’s visitors.

Performs minor maintenance of trucks and equipment, such as greasing, washing and checking oil and tires.
Responsible for street repairs and maintenance, including surface restoration, sign installation and repair, and painting traffic lines.
Keeps public grounds clear and safe, including mowing grass, picking up debris and trash, and removing snow and ice during hazardous weather conditions.
