The Velvet Tails is a premium pet lifestyle brand built around one simple belief:

We are building a modern, premium Indian brand focused initially on dog accessories, including collars, leashes, harnesses, toys and other lifestyle essentials.

The brand is currently at an early-launch, pre-revenue stage. Our D2C e-commerce platform and product portfolio are already being built and launched, and we are now looking for the right entrepreneurial partner to help take the business from early stage to meaningful scale.

This is an opportunity to join the journey at the ground floor, before the brand establishes significant revenue traction.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Chief Business Officer (CBO) – Investing Partner who wants to go beyond a conventional job and become a part of the entrepreneurial journey.

The selected candidate will invest approximately ₹15–20 Lakhs into the business in exchange for an agreed equity stake.

This is not a passive investment opportunity.





We are looking for someone who will work closely with the founders and take genuine ownership of the company's business growth, revenue generation, customer acquisition, e-commerce performance and strategic direction.

What You'll Own

As CBO, you will work directly with the founders and take ownership of:
- Developing and executing the overall business growth strategy
- Taking the brand from pre-revenue to sustainable revenue
- Driving D2C sales and online revenue growth
- Developing strategies for customer acquisition and retention
- Improving website conversion and overall e-commerce performance
- Driving growth across relevant online marketplaces
- Developing and executing digital growth strategies alongside the marketing team
- Identifying recent online growth opportunities and revenue channels
- Building strategic brand collaborations and online partnerships
- Analysing sales, customer behaviour, CAC, ROAS, margins and other key business metr
