Role Description The Home Automation KNX Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining KNX-based home automation systems in residential projects, ensuring all devices and components function reliably and according to design specifications.



The technician will interpret wiring diagrams and system layouts, perform testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, and coordinate with project managers, designers, and other technicians to deliver high-quality installations. Daily activities include on-site visits, system commissioning, customer demonstrations, and basic user training for clients on how to use smart switches, panels, and control interfaces. The role also requires accurate documentation of work performed, adherence to safety standards, and continuous learning about new automation technologies and product updates.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills in electrical installations, low-voltage wiring, and integration of home automation systems (KNX experience highly preferred).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and system layouts, with solid troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
