Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Studies Teacher role based at the Tambaram campus. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons that align with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives, with a focus on age-appropriate instruction for middle school learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching world history and other social studies topics, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.



The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in school events and staff meetings, maintaining accurate records, and creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs. The teacher is also expected to communicate regularly with parents or guardians and contribute to a positive school culture.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Social Studies and World History, with the ability to make content relevant and engaging for middle school learners.
Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including aligning activities and assessments with learning objectives and standards.
Experience teaching at the Middle School level or similar age group, with effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Social Sciences, History, or a related field; formal teacher training
