Scopely is hiring a Senior Agentic AI Engineer for its Gen AI team in Bangalore. The role focuses on building scalable AI systems for analytics, automation, and in-game experiences.

Experience

5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development using Python
At least 2 years in a senior role with hands-on AI experience
At least 1 year of experience in cloud-native development in AWS, GCP, or similar
Hands-on experience using agentic AI in day-to-day development
Robust background in software engineering best practices
Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectures, and SQL/NoSQL data management




Strong problem-solving and system design skills
Strong communicator with ability to influence cross-team decisions

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic design, development, and deployment of advanced AI systems for conversational analytics, knowledge bases, QA automation, and in-game intelligent experiences
Architect and implement scalable AI solutions for real-time systems, automation pipelines, and player-facing features
Design structured protocols for managing AI model context across diverse applications
Create autonomous agents for decision-making and dynamic interaction
Collaborate across disciplines to translate high-level goals into AI-powered capabilities
Mentor and guide engineers and promote best practices
Contribute to architectural decisions shaping long-term technical direction
Present research, insights, and prototypes that influence product vision and accelerate adoption of emerging AI technologies
