Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Support Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role demands deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure services, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to lead incident resolution and root cause analysis for complex cloud issues. The ideal candidate will serve as the final escalation point for Azure-related problems and contribute to architecture optimization and automation initiatives.

Role & responsibilities:

Primary Responsibility
- Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for Azure infrastructure issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking components.
- Monitor performance, availability, and security of Azure resources using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
- Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to optimize cloud deployments and implement best practices.
- Manage and maintain Azure services including VMs, VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Azure AD, Storage Accounts, and App Services.




- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document incident reports.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM/Bicep templates.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and governance standards.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Mentor L1 and L2 support engineers and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
- This resource will interface with Functional Managers, IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, Legal, Risk Management, etc.

Secondary Responsibility
- To manage and operate all/selected IT Infrastructure/Security Applications and landscape
- Be involved in Enterprise Risk Management and Audit process for IT.

Preferred candidate profile:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and support.
