ECHO TECHNICIAN (CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER)

Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms (2D, Doppler, Color Flow, Stress Echo, and related cardiac ultrasound procedures).
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the testing process.
- Acquire high-quality diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and test results.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any technical issues.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and clinic protocols.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Cardiac Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related field.




- Experience performing echocardiography in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Relevant certification/licensure (if applicable).

Skills:
- Solid echocardiography and imaging skills.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer and EMR/EHR documentation skills.
