To be successful as a AVP - Senior Cyber Operations Service management Analyst, you should have experience with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5-10 years of experience in Cyber Operations, IT Operations, Risk, Compliance, or Governance roles within a regulated enterprise workplace.
- Strong understanding of Operational Risk and Control (ORAC) frameworks, issue management lifecycle, and audit processes.
- Hands-on experience in issue remediation tracking,
root cause analysis, and closure documentation (closure packs/evidence packs).
- Proven ability to engage with internal and external auditors, including responding to audit findings and clarifications.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (risk, audit, technology, operations) to drive issue resolution.
- Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, or equivalent governance models.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced CyberOps environment with high accountability and ownership.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Exposure to audit tools, GRC platforms for issue tracking and reporting.
- Prior experience in CyberOps governance, control assurance, or regulatory compliance programs within large enterprises
