A culinaryDaBox Chennai is looking for a motivated and disciplined Commis I to join our Pan-Asian kitchen team. This role is ideal for a chef who has a solid foundation in professional cooking and is eager to develop their skills in Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Korean cuisine within a fast-paced cloud kitchen setting.

Working under the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, you will assist in food preparation, maintain quality standards, and help ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in the preparation and cooking of Pan-Asian dishes.
- Carry out daily mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared, labeled, and stored according to kitchen standards.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across all menu items.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, marinades, and garnishes as directed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation throughout your shift.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and allergen handling procedures.
- Support stock rotation (FIFO),



proper storage, and minimize food waste.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries according to food safety standards.
- Ensure timely preparation of orders in a high-volume, delivery-focused kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and respond positively to feedback from senior chefs.
- Assist with kitchen opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.

Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Basic understanding of Asian ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.
- Good knife skills and strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
- Pre-opening or cloud kitchen experience is a plus.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
