Role Description:
The Reporter will collaborate with editors and other team members to ensure accurate, timely, and engaging coverage for digital and video formats. The role also involves maintaining robust local contacts, monitoring breaking news, and contributing to live or recorded content as required.

Responsibilities:
- Cover breaking news, political, social, crime, business, entertainment,



and public interest stories.
- Conduct on-ground reporting and live news coverage.
- Gather facts, verify information, and interview relevant sources.
- Prior experience in field reporting, especially in local or regional news, and knowledge of current affairs at the state and national level is an advantage.
- Ability to work under deadlines, maintain ethical standards, verify information rigorously, and collaborate effectively with editorial and production teams.
- Ensure all reports comply with journalistic ethics and editorial guidelines.
- Coordinate with the central news desk to upload or stream raw footage, audio feeds, and filed reports under tight deadlines.

Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal reporting skills and strong command over the local language (plus English/Hindi as required by the news desk).
