About the role

We're looking for experienced Care Partners with hospital-level care experience to join our team. You'll provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents with complex needs, working alongside a supportive, values-led team.

We offer fixed shifts across a range of patterns, along with a competitive hourly rate of $28.63 - $31.08 plus applicable allowances, giving you stability, certainty and work-life balance.

Every shift, you'll contribute to what we call The Selwyn Way — a holistic approach to care that focuses on the whole person.

Our current available shift patterns are
- Wednesday and Thursday 1500-2130 - 12 hours
- 6-month fixed term: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 0700-1330 / Tuesday, Wednesday 1500-2130 - 30 hours
- Friday to Sunday 1500-2315 - 23.75 hours (must have dementia care experience)




- Casual - we are also seeking casual Care Partners to join our Bureau

What you'll bring
- 2+ years NZ aged care experience, including dementia and hospital-level care
- Level 3-4 Health & Wellbeing qualification preferred
- Permanent NZ work rights
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork, with a focus on lifting others up
- Physically able and committed to person-centred care
- Calm, empathetic, and qualified in complex situations
