About the Role

The Principal will be the academic, administrative, and cultural head of the institution — accountable to the Management Committee / Trustees for the day-to-day running and long-term growth of the school.



This is a full P&L-style; leadership role with end-to-end ownership.

You will lead a faculty of ~50-80, oversee 800+ students from Pre-Primary to Class XII, and represent the school externally with parents, the CBSE board, regulatory authorities, and the wider Kharagpur community.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership
- Drive CBSE curriculum delivery across Pre-Primary to Class XII, ensuring NEP 2020 alignment
- Set and monitor board examination outcomes (Class X and Class XII), aiming for measurable year-on-year improvement
- Lead pedagogy innovation, lesson observation, and academic SOPs
- Oversee Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), ASL, project work, and assessment integrity

Faculty & Team Management
- Recruit, induct, train, mentor, and appraise teaching and non-teaching staff
- Build a culture of continuous professional development — internal training calendars, CBSE workshops, peer learning
