Job Summary:
We are hiring a Content Compliance Trainee - Kannada based in Noida. It is an entry-level role focused on Standards & Practices (S&P;) content compliance, subtitle and caption creation, and QC for Kannada-language content across OTT, broadcast, and digital media.

The role offers great exposure to an exciting media and entertainment ecosystem, with work spanning leading global OTT platforms and well-known content franchises.

Responsibilities
- Complete daily targets in a timely and accurate manner.
- Make decisions using the best judgment for the task at hand.
- Comprehend and transcribe Kannada audio snippets wherever necessary.
- Review and fix subtitle timecodes to precisely match the audio-text sync.
- Be proactive and communicate problems and developments effectively to the Manager, peers, and internal staff as needed.
- Conduct research for correct spellings, terms, characters, translations, and media information to ensure accuracy when creating and syncing Kannada text.




- Write and comprehend the given audio/video in the true essence and context of the character, story, place, and setup.

Requirements:
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Kannada subtitling, content compliance, transcription, or media operations. Freshers with solid Kannada and English language skills are encouraged to apply.
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality, continuity, and accuracy.
- Clear internal communication and a proactive approach to flagging content or technical issues early.
- Ability to work to client and platform specifications, quality standards, and agreed turnaround timelines.
- An interest in entertainment, movies, TV shows, and digital content.

Must Have:
- Native proficiency in Kannada and fluency in English, in both writing and comprehension.
- Good understanding of Kannada audio and accurate comprehension across regional accents and dialects.
- Excellent critical skills in Kannada spelling, grammar, punctuation, and idiomatic flow.
