Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer with robust expertise in Playwright (TypeScript) and automation testing for modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing while working in Agile development environments.

This role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through robust test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Framework Development

Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
Develop reusable automation components following automation design best practices




Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) architecture and data-driven testing approaches

Test Automation & Quality Assurance

Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, regression, smoke, and functional testing
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across business-critical workflows
Execute automated and manual test cases when required
Validate application functionality, performance, and quality throughout the SDLC

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Work closely with Dev and DevOps teams to optimize automated test execution in deployment workflows
Monitor automation execution results and improve test reliability and stability

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and quality objectives
Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, requirement reviews, retros
