Role & responsibilities

Looking for an fresher profile

1. Handling and daily maintenance of equipments.

2. Special staining technique like AFB, PAS, GMS, Reticulin, Congo red etc.

3. Cutting of paraffin blocks of small biopsies, lymph nodes, bone marrow etc.

4. Handling of automated machines and changing the reagents.

5. All necessary documentation for NABL.

6. Handling & loading of IHC strainers

7. Antibody dilution

8. Grossing of small biopsies.

9. Follow biomedical waste disposal procedure as per guidelines

10. Provision of technical inputs for the operations

11. Completion of allocated work within TAT

12. Any other training, supervision or related activity as required from time to time for ensuring laboratory work is performed as per standards.

In case of emergency/ unforeseen circumstances shall cooperate to perform any task as assigned by seniors as required for department functioning.

Preferred candidate profile
- B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT) / B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with a relevant DMLT qualification may also be considered
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of histopathology and laboratory practices is preferred.
- Candidate should be comfortable working in a 9-hour shift and demonstrate a solid willingness to learn and develop technical skills in histopathology department
